Tee se itse koulutuksessa: Digitaalisten kompetenssien kehittäminen opiskelijoiden oman toiminnan ja yhteisöllisen oppimisen voimalla (joka tunnetaan myös nimellä DIYLab) on EU:n Elinikäisen oppimisen rahoittama projekti (Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission).

DIY tai Do It Yourself (tee se itse) on ideologia, jonka mukaan oppija hallitsee omaa oppimisprosessiaan tuottaen omaa oppimateriaalia.

Työ koulujen kanssa

Projektiryhmämme koostuu kolmen yliopiston, alakoulun ja yläkoulun verkostosta. Partnerit tulevat Espanjasta, Suomesta ja Tsekin tasavallasta.

Tavoitteena on kehittää elinikäisen oppimisen taitoja lisäämällä oppijoiden osallisuutta, yhteistyötä sekä digitaalisia valmiuksia hyödyntämällä tämän päivän teknologisia mahdollisuuksia.

Analyysi

Aloitimme projektin analysoimalla eri maiden koulujen ja yliopistojen opetussuunnitelmia ja selvittämällä eri kohderyhmien (oppilaat, opettajat, vanhemmat) kanssa näkemyksiä DIY-ideologian mahdollisuuksista.

Koulutus

Järjestämme opettajille sarjan viikoittaisia työpajoja, joissa esittelemme hankkeessa luotavan pedagogisen toimintamallin sekä tuemme teknologisten haasteiden ratkaisussa. Tuloksena on toteuttamissuunnitelma jokaista koulua ja yliopistoa varten.

Toteutus

Projektin toisen vuoden aikana jokainen koulu ja yliopisto toteuttavat pilottikokeilun opiskelijaryhmän kanssa. Peruskoulun luokista toimijoina ovat 5. ja 9. luokan oppilaat. Yliopistot valitsevat omaan toimintaansa sopivan kohderyhmän.

Arviointi

Päätämme projektin toiminnan arviointiin ja nostamme esille tulevan kehitystyön kannalta keskeisiä parannusehdotuksia. Sosio-ekonomisessa arvioinnissa tuomme esille DIY-ideologian toteuttamiseen liittyviä hyötyjä, kehittämiskohteita ja riskejä sekä peruskoulussa että yliopistossa.
